WP Fastest Cache – Why Use a Cache Plugin?

The simple answer is that it makes your website pages load faster. Your visitors will be happy and you will also have improved SEO rankings (your site will rank higher on Google and other search engines).

Cache plugin have lots of settings. WP Fastest Cache is the simplest and fastest WP Cache system for WordPress websites.

This plugin has:

  • 1+ Million active installations
  • It is a 5-Star rated plugin (based on over 2900 reviews).

Make sure that you backup your website prior to installing this plugin or any other plugin.

How it Works

The purpose of a cache is to make websites load faster. If someone visits a page on your site that is not cached then the site has to request information from the database in your hosting account (which is where the written content of your site and other settings are stored) and it has to request files from your hosting account (images for example).

All these requests happen one at a time and each individual request is quite fast. But when you have to make many requests for every page view (which you do), then pages can take quite long to load.

This same process happens for every visitor. If you have a plugin that caches pages, the process explained above occurs for the first visitor to a page. The page that is presented to the visitor is then saved to the cache. The next visitor to that page will be shown the cached page. Loading that page does not require any database requests and so it will be a lot faster.

The above explains how caching plugins work. Modern browsers also have their own cache that stores images and information from websites you’ve visited.

The bottom line is the cache stores data and files to make loading pages faster.
