Important Ad Types: Google Ads assist you to Grow Your Business. Google Ads are used by over 1 million businesses around the world. You set your own budget and you only pay when a visitor clicks the Ad to visit your website. Google Ads is an effective way to promote one’s website.
The important Ad Types to use in Search Campaigns and Display Campaigns are:
- Expanded Text Ad
- Responsive Search Ad
- Responsive Display Ad
- Expanded Dynamic Search Ads (Category and Specific Webpages).
An effective way to organise the aforementioned Ads is to create 3 separate Campaigns (we will refer to them, as Campaign #1, Campaign #2 and Campaign #3).
Expanded Text Ad
Google recently made changes to text ads so that you have more room to convey your message to customers. Now, you can:
- Add a third headline
- Add a second description
- Use up to 90 characters for each description.

Responsive Search Ad
Responsive search ads let you create an ad that adapts to show more text—and more relevant messages—to your customers. Enter multiple headlines and descriptions when creating a responsive search ad, and over time, Google Ads will automatically test different combinations and learn which combinations perform best. By adapting your ad’s content to more closely match potential customers’ search terms, responsive search ads may improve your campaign’s performance.

Responsive Display Ad
Responsive display ads are replacing responsive ads as the default ad type for the Display Network. They can be used in standard Display campaigns as well as Smart Display campaigns. To create a responsive display ad, upload your assets (images, headlines, logos, videos, and descriptions), and Google will automatically generate ads to be shown on the Google Display Network.
