In many instances one has to set multiple categories for a post, but in the website’s local hierarchy one of those categories has to be more important than the others. No WordPress theme can decide by itself which is the right one. You have to make this decision and choose the one that is the most relevant.
Go to the ‘Categories’ setting in the sidebar of the post you are editing. Click on the dropdown menu under ‘Select the primary category’. The menu expands. Select the primary category from the menu.
Selecting the ‘Primary Category’ when you are creating a new Blog Post will enable related Blog Posts to show up. The probability is high that visitors who enjoyed reading your Blog Post will click on a related Blog and stay longer on your website – it is good for the visitor and it is good for your website’s SEO (Search Engine Optmization).
